In less than 10 seconds ALERT completes a systems check and blank test.

Take a Breath Sample

ALERT automatically tells you when it’s ready for the subject test. Just breathe into the unit for 5 seconds and the unit monitors the breath flow to ensure an accurate breath test. A visual and audio cue is provided, and if the subject should abort the test, ALERT is ready within 5 seconds for a retest. ALERT safeguards against user interference or false readings due to operator error.

Read the Results

ALERT conducts the analysis with an electro-chemical (fuel cell) sensor and the results are displayed in a few seconds with an accuracy of ±.005, the standard for evidentiary testing.

Print the Test Record

ALERT is designed to integrate with a portable printer to provide a complete print record of the breath test procedure. One of more copies may be printed immediately. The results are also stored in memory for later retrieval.

Connect to a PC

ALERT also provides a means for PC communication to download data, set the date and time, and custom configure the print record.

Designed for the Field

ALERT and the portable printer run on rechargeable NiCd batteries. An AC and DC power adapter are provided with the complete kit to ensure that you will never be at a loss of power. ALERT even turns itself off to conserve energy.

Warranty ALERT model J4X.ec breath alcohol testers are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and material for one year from the date of shipment. Alcohol Countermeasure Systems agrees to replace or repair any unit or part that in its judgment is found to be defective, providing that the defect has not been caused by misuse or mishandling. Units in warranty must be property packaged and shipped prepaid to a factory authorized service facility.
