GUTH 10-4 model with Mercury Thermometer 117 VAC, 60 Hz, The simulator has been approved by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration [NHTSA].
The instrument has an improved mercury-in-glass serialized thermostat. All fittings are chrome and stainless steel within the wet chamber area of the instrument. The chamber area container is glass. The simulator has a power switch and long life power and heater indicator lamps. To monitor the temperature of the simulator, the instrument is provided with a high precision, serialized NBS reference mercury-in-glass thermometer.

Most replacement parts are directly replaceable with existing Mark IIA simulators.
